1. Skull
This photo was taken for the aperture assignment. What I like about this photo is how detailed and focused it is on the skull. My point of view was up close. The photo doesn't follow the rule of thirds because the skull is the main focal point in the center of the photo. The depth of field is shallow. The ISO was set to 800 and the White Balance was florescent. |
4. Tree Looking at this photo, the compositional element that is most apparent is angle/point of view. There is also a sense of depth seen because the bark on the tree leads your eyes up to its branches. When I edited this photo, I adjusted the saturation and the brightness. This photo communicates/reminds me of/ makes me think of summer. |
5. Painting with light This photo was taken for the Painting with Light assignment. What I like about this photo is all the different colors that are shown and how they all formed different rings of light in the center. The photo doesn't follow the rule of thirds because it's centered. The depth of field is large because the photo isn't fully in focus on one subject. The ISO was set to 600 and there was a really long shutter speed so you could see the lights in motion. |
